Derry City are set to sign Northern Ireland under-18s defender Eoin Toal after agreeing a deal with the NIFL Championship side Armagh City.
The deal for the centre-half will go through on July 1st when the midseason transfer window for League of Ireland clubs opens for the summer.
According to the Derry Journal, the deal has been in the pipeline for months and Toal has been down to visit the club several times this year.
18-year-old Toal will train with the Candystripes until then as the Northern Irish season has now concluded, with Armagh set to drop down to the third-tier intermediate league.
